VET teachers test Reacti-VET

The Reacti-VET project aims to equip students with the skills needed in today's labour market.

To do this, a preparatory course was first run by the teachers involved in the project. Now they will test the teaching approach in real life with their students by giving them 30 hours of extra-curricular training courses on the following topics:

• knowledge of office software,
• purchasing imported goods,
• IT security,
• communication and additional skills for family support work,
• smart home IT.

The extra-curricular courses are partly classroom-based, partly online and, as far as circumstances allow, include face-to-face meetings at the premises of the companies (the students' potential future workplaces).

At the end of the course, the students will present the completed project, which will be evaluated by the company, in addition to the teacher, on the basis of pre-defined criteria.
