Project management in vocational education and training

How can a vocational school teacher be a successful project manager? The next phase of the Reacti-VET project will find out, as the lessons learned in the teacher training will be put into practice in the autumn.

After a few weeks of inevitable pause due to the coronavirus situation, the teachers in training will soon start a pilot project: they will work with their students on an extra-curricular project, which will be assigned to them by their prospective employers.

The Hungarian teams have chosen the following project topics:

1. BGSZC — IT integrated into logistics training (e.g. reporting)
2. Öveges József Vocational Training Centre of Veszprém, Vocational Secondary School, Vocational School and College — trade
3. Öveges József Vocational Training Centre of Veszprém, Vocational Secondary School, Vocational School and College — IT
4. SZÁMALK-Salesian Post-Secondary Institute — pedagogy, communication
5. SZÁMALK-Salesian Post-Secondary Institute — IT security

The schools can decide whether to use the summer internship for this purpose or to make preparations and start work in September.
